Seeing Spots

Top: Forever 21 // Dress: J. Crew Factory // Shoes: Franco Sarto // Bag: Tory Burch // Tights: F21 [old] // Bracelet: ILY Couture, c/o HelloFab // Lips: Sangria by Milani

Happy hump day! My two favorite colors for fall are bordeaux and navy, so this outfit is definitely a favorite of mine. And of course I am obsessed with anything with polka dots, so I love this dress! Though I have been searching for the skirt version of this for ever, so I mainly purchased this dress so I could refashion it into a skirt. But either way, I am definitely a polka dot lover! [Please excuse the tear in my tights. These are super old and I didn't notice until we were already taking pictures!]

**Oh, and I am also selling my Tory Burch purse [in the pictures above] so if you are interested, feel free to send me an email at [email protected] for price info and more detailed pictures.**

Nothing to Say

I'm so sorry that I have no pictures and nothing to say today, but it's just one of those mornings when I wish I didn't have to do anything. Mondays are so hard for me [dramatic, I know] but I haven't been feeling well, and I've just been tired all the time. Ugh. [No I'm not pregnant! haha]

I will leave you with my 3 GroopDealz picks this week...

Bordeaux Monochrome

Two of my favorite things during fall are sweater dresses and anything bordeaux, so this J. Crew Factory dress was a definite must for me. And of course I had to pair it with my perfectly matching Tory boots and Mini MAC

What do you think of this monochrome look? Do you like it or is it too matchy-matchy for you?

Finally, my favorite store, J. Crew Factory, is having a 30% sale this week [with code sale30], so now is the perfect time to snag those fall pieces that you've been wanting! Here are my picks:

Fall Fashion on a Budget

Each year as fall comes around, I can't seem to get my mind off of the clothes I will be purchasing for the new season. I believe in buying high quality pieces that will last for a long time [which is why I saved up for my Tory boots and Tory bag] but let's be honest-- high quality pieces can get pretty pricey. Being a fashion blogger on a budget is hard [even harder since finding out we are moving in January and have no jobs lined up!] but luckily I have found some great fall pieces that our husbands and bank accounts will both appreciate. SheInside offers a wide variety of trendy, yet affordable pieces.

Below are some of my favorite fall coats, and all are under $60!

Throw On Some Fur

I am loving fur vests right now! What are your feelings on them? I think they are unique and fun and can spice up any outfit. H, on the other hand, is not a fan and has been telling me that I look like a coyote. [haha!] I do struggle with how to wear them, and seem to always end up throwing them on over my favorite chambray, but I promise to branch out and showcase other ways you can pull off a fur vest!

Happy Monday, and thank you so much for all of the birthday wishes! [Congrats to Jackeline Davila for winning the Bip and Bop giveaway! Contact me at [email protected] to claim your prize.]

If you follow along with me on Instagram [@victoriafarnsworth] you've probably noticed that I have been wearing this J. Crew schoolboy blazer for the past 4 days straight. I am seriously obsessed with the color and fit of it, and I've been wearing it with everything. I wore this outfit last week, and I had multiple people tell me how "equestrian" I looked. I feel a little preppy, like I'm enrolled in some private school. I think I could have really enjoyed being one of those uniform-wearing girls, you know? Ooh, or like Spencer on Pretty Little Liars?? [Anyone else a fan of PLL?]

[Please excuse my Tory in these pictures. I had an extra full bag and my computer and phone chargers were pushing the bag out, making it look deformed.]

Top: J. Crew Factory // Blazer: J. Crew // Pants: Forever 21 // Boots: Tory Burch // Bag: Tory Burch // Bracelet: ILY Couture // Sunnies: Forever 21

I am obsessed with all of this week's GroopDealz picks! I think I will be purchasing all of these items ASAP, because they are all so perfect for fall! I love GroopDealz because of how on trend and affordable their items are! Make sure to stop by!

Phoenix Fashion Week

Okay, so 2 weekends ago I had the opportunity to attend Phoenix Fashion Week, and I am finally getting around to posting the pictures! This was the picture I posted on Instagram (@victoriafarnsworth) with these gorgeous AZ bloggers I met up with, Latisha and Alyssa!

I wanted to go with something a little different for fashion week, and decided to wear these gorgeous and unique pieces from Spiegel's new line! I loved these slacks because of the high waist and fitted ankle, and this hi-low peplum top was to die for!

Top: c/o Spiegel [on super sale!!] // Pants: c/o Spiegel // Shoes: c/o ShoeDazzle // Clutch: Clare Vivier

We also had the wonderful experience of sitting in the front row during the fashion, which was seriously something that I will never forget! [And we got these fabulous gift bags!]

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

Conair Curl Secret Tutorial

**Disclaimer: I am a member of the Collective Bias Social Fabric Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias and their client.

I love to curl my hair. I wear it curled almost every day, and currently use my straightener to do so. I have a curling wand, but am absolutely TERRIFIED to use it. I've used it once before, but the entire time, I kept burning my fingers and was afraid that my hair was going to melt off like the girl in that video... When I heard about Conair Curl Secret, I admit I was intrigued. The curling iron is not like any other curling iron I've seen before, and it is designed so that you can't burn yourself!

So I picked it up from Walmart this week [where the price is only $99 compared to $150 at], and my sweet niece begged me to let her be my model while using the Conair Curl Secret. I took a short video of the process, to show you all, however the camera focused more on the background than on what we were doing. [Of course.] But you still get the idea. Basically you insert your hair into the Curl Secret and close the curling iron, it wraps your hair up in it, and beeps at you when it's done curling. It was easy to use and saved so much time! I was quite impressed with this and can't wait to do a tutorial using it on my own hair!

During the video, Lana kept saying, "I'm just worried that people are going to think I'm lazy because I'm sitting here getting my hair done and muching on grapes." That girl... :]

Here is Lana's hair before, right after, and then once we brushed it out a little bit. She absolutely loved it, and I'd say the Curl Secret works pretty darn good!

Be sure to follow along with Conair for other fab tutorials and inspiration via Twitter and Pinterest.

Thanks so much for reading, and for supporting the sponsors that support this blog!
