#TargetWedding

I don't know about you, but I feel like I have friends and family members getting married all the time. And sometimes it can be difficult and/or stressful to find a unique wedding gift to give. Whenever purchasing something off of a wedding registry, I try to take something basic and add a special touch to it. Today I teaming up with Target to show you how you can take a simple item off of a Wedding Registry and make it the perfect wedding gift!

What you'll need:
1. Threshold Towels
2. Spritz Garland [In store]
3. Card/Paper

Target Wedding Registry makes it so much easier to create unique, yet personalized wedding gifts. A few of my other Wedding Registry ideas include:

1. Hot Cocoa sets with these adorable Monogrammed Mugs.
2. Betty Crocker Cookbook along with a cute Cookbook Holder.
3. Date Night Baskets packed with a few romantic comedies, candy, and popcorn/popcorn maker.
4. A cute Photo Album to put their new wedding photos in!
5. Some Holiday inspired, cozy socks for Him and for Her.

What are some of your favorite/most unique wedding gifts you've received? I'd love to hear!!

Lumberjack

Top: Loft // Coat: Chaps via Kohl's [similar] // Denim: Current/Elliott // Booties: Kohl's [similar] // Earrings: c/o InPink // Sunnies: Karen Walker inspired via Amazon

Today I'm wearing a few of my favorite pieces! H got me this coat for Christmas and I have been wearing it nonstop! It reminds me of this J. Crew coat, but much more affordable, and on sale! [H says I look like a lumberjack, ha! :]

Oh, and by the way, we are leaving for Idaho on THURSDAY! We moved everything out of our 3rd story apartment [UGH] this weekend and are staying at our parents for the next few days. It's weird and a little sad not going home to our apartment each night, but we are excited [and nervous] for this new adventure!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Attire

Dress: Ann Taylor // Shoes: Michael Antonio // Bag: Elle via Kohl's [old] // Necklace: c/o Bip and Bop

Happy Friday, everyone! I wanted to share with you what I wore to our family Christmas dinner! I fell in love with this dress from Ann Taylor while finishing up some last minute shopping on Christmas Eve. It's a good thing I bought it, too, because the Christmas dress I had originally ordered didn't show up in time. Ugh.

Also, our big move is just DAYS away now! [6 days to be precise.] And even with all of the packing and cleaning that's been going on around here, I feel nowhere near ready! Eek!! Anyone who wants to come help me pack is more than welcome... ;]

Plaid

Top: J. Crew Factory // Skirt: J. Crew // Coat: Old Navy // Boots: Calvin Klein // Scarf: Croft & Barrow via Kohl's [similar]

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and were able to spend time with your loved ones! This was mine and H's second Christmas together and I feel like each year together gets a bit more enjoyable. I did, however, cave and buy H an Xbox One, which is the one thing he's been asking for these past few months. [I'm not a huge fan of Xbox in general, but I hey, I did score major points with all of his friends. I was even given the title "Best Wife Ever" by a few of them, so I'll take it! ;]

Anyway, thank you all for reading!! I love all of you so much and I'm so incredibly grateful for all of your love and support!

#MyKindOfHoliday -- Holiday Gift Guide w/ Target

FOR HER: 1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5

FOR HIM: 1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5

Today I am teaming up with Target to share a few last minute gift ideas with you! If you are anything like me, you have only done a small portion of your Christmas shopping by now. So this gift guide is for all of the procrastinators out there...[And did I mention that everything is under $25?!] Everything on these lists are either things that I would love to open up on Christmas Day, or things that I would love to give to my husband [or brothers, dad, friends, etc.] My favorites are definitely this bow belt and this watch, and this David Beckham cologne has a special place in my heart. It's the cologne that H used to wear while we were dating, so I may have to snatch some of that up for his stocking this year. [It's my favorite cologne!]

So make sure and finish up your last minute shopping at Target this year! And if you don't have enough time for the shopping that needs to be done, simply slip a Gift Card/eGift Card in their stocking this year...

Today, Target is also generously giving away a $25 Gift Card, so make sure you enter with the Rafflecopter below. Thanks for stopping by!

Anchored [Take 2]

Sweater: c/o Kiki La'Rue // Pants: J. Crew Factory // Boots: Hunter [Crimson Pink, though the color looks way different online] // Wallet: Tory Burch // Earrings: c/o InPink // Bracelet: c/o InPink

Can I just say TGIF? For some reason this week has gone by so slow, and yet so fast at the same time. Maybe it's because it's my last week of work... which is exciting, but is also very heart breaking. For those of you who don't know, I am a nanny to 3 adorable kiddos, who just happen to be my nieces and nephew. H and I are both very close to our families, so moving away from all of them is going to be very hard for us. [Especially since I'm such a cry baby already! Ha!] Anyway, I just wanted to include one of the pictures of my cute niece Abigail [practically my child] who I get to spend all of my mornings with while the other 2 kids are at school. We do everything together and she always follows me around and copies whatever I do. I love it so much! H has had this past week off of work, so Abigail has been with us while we take our pictures mid-day, and she kept trying to be in the pictures with me... SO CUTE!

Wow, enough with my rambling! I mentioned a few days ago how much I was loving Kiki La'Rue, but I have to rave again. I am truly in love with all of their clothes, especially this anchor sweater. I know that the whole anchor trend has kind of died down, but I am just starting to fall in love with it! What do you think?

Aztec

Chambray: J. Crew Factory [favorite!] // Top: c/o Recycled Consign and Design // Pants: J. Crew Factory // Boots: Tory Burch // Earrings: c/o InPink // Bracelet: ILY Couture // Lips: Milani Plumrose

So I decided to pull out my extensions yesterday and try a new hairstyle that I saw on Jade's blog. I'm in the process of growing my hair out, but I am incredibly impatient and the process is going way too slow for me. I'm sure you will be seeing my extensions a lot more now that my hair is long enough to blend in with them.

On a completely separate note--can we talk about the fact that I am moving in TWO WEEKS?! Seriously I can't even handle how quickly it's coming up and how much we still have left to do! Oh, and Christmas is in less than a week... :]

Thanks for reading!

Messy

Sweater: c/o Kiki La'Rue // Pants: Cotton On // Booties: Franco Sarto [love THESE] // Wallet: Tory Burch // Necklace: c/o Mariposa Medley //Midi Ring: c/o Style Revel

Thanks for stopping by today!

Let's be honest... There are days when I'm just not really feeling the whole "fashion blogger" thing and I just want to throw on an oversized sweater and put my hair on top of my head! I am loving this comfy, oversized, striped sweater from Kiki La'Rue that makes me look more put together than I'm actually feeling. Kiki La'Rue has some really cute items right now, so make sure you check out their site!

Spotted

Top: J. Crew Factory // Skirt: Loft // Tights: ASOS [similar] // Booties: Target // Gloves: Lands' End [similar] // Earrings: ILY Couture // Phone Case: J. Crew Factory

I'm so sorry for my absence in the blogging world lately, but not to worry... I'm back! :]

This Loft skirt is one of my absolute favorites, especially during this holiday season! I showed you in THIS POST how to glam up this skirt, but I also wanted to show it's versatility and how it can be dressed down. I paired it with a basic chambray and polka dot tights, and I loved the result! I am a firm believer that everyone should have a pair of polka dot tights in their closet, so if you don't, make sure you snag a pair! [They would also be a great stocking stuffer! ;]

Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a great day!
