How We Wore It: Floral

Happy Friday! I hope you all had a fabulous 4th of July and hopefully you are enjoying a long weekend and don't have to work today.

Fashion Flirtation's Five Friday Faves:

1. Food for Thought: What I Plan to Teach My Kids About Bikinis by Katilda. And to be completely honest, I don't agree with her 100% on this, but it is a very well post and gives some great insight!

2. Looks I Love: CaraLoren in a pant suit. For real, can she get any cuter? Every time I see her photos, it makes me want to purchase a pant suit.

3. Inspiration: Brittany Fuson Paper. Okay, this isn't a blog post, but how can you not be so inspired by Brittany's amazing sketches? I'm dying over all of them, and even the luggage tags are so cute! Head on over to her site and check it out. She is amazing.

4. If You Need a Laugh: This video about social media that Story of My Life posted! [There are a couple of swear words in this, so be aware.]

5. Beauty Tips: Twist Me Pretty. If you need any ideas for your hair, head on over tot this site. This girl is amazing at doing hair, and has tutorials for all of her hairstyles! You can purchase the Hairstyle Handbook HERE.

Today, I am teaming up with some lovely bloggers to bring you a "How We Wore It" segment. I have always loved these, because it showcases different ways that you can style a trend. Today we are showing you how we styled florals, which is a definite must for summer. I love this trend because you can literally wear it on any part of your body, and it is going to look fabulous. Floral tops, floral skirts/jeans, floral hats, floral scarfs, floral shoes, etc. They all look great, so don't be afraid to try it!

Check out Love Me, Dani Marie, A Beautiful Heart, and Jessica Jean Blog for some fab looks! [And PS, I took these photos before I cut my hair! :]

  6. I saw that video about the bikini that has been going around. The older I have gotten, the more I dislike the idea of them. I was just telling my friend that I thought it would be so awkward to be in a bikini in front of her husband. She agreed. That's just my opinion though. I love your look above! SO pretty!!

    1. No, I totally agree with the main video and wearing modest swim suits. I agree it is pretty much awkward wearing a bikini in front of anyone but my husband, haha! What I did NOT agree with was the post I linked to and the reasoning she gave for HER not liking the video.

      Thanks for reading girl!

  10. I have never been a fan of florals but since I've been trying to dress a little more feminine, I'm starting to lean towards them. They add a bit of interest and softness to any outfit. I love how you all styled your florals!
