Day 4: Pink

If you couldn't already tell, I get sick of things really quick. [Disclaimer: My husband is the only thing I do not and will not ever get sick of. :] I go through clothes so fast; after a couple weeks of having something new, I usually sell it and then go get something new. And my hair? My poor hair... I get sick of it so quickly and I am dying to change it at least twice a month. And I usually do. [That's also the main reason I'm not in school right now... I can't find anything that I like long enough to spend such a large amount of time and money on.] But back to my hair. Yesterday when I woke up, I was just dying to go back brunette. I was brunette a couple of years ago, and I loved it. [The only thing I didn't love was keeping it up. Blonde roots are worse than dark roots, I swear! When my hair would grow out, the roots would look gray or like the dark hair was just growing out of nowhere. I had to get my hair done every 2-3 of weeks.]  BUT. I am really itching to go dark again. And when I have an itch to do something, it usually happens within a few days.

The reason I change my hair so much is because sometimes I feel like my hair is the only thing I can control. When life gets really crazy or I'm going through a big life change, my hair is always the one that suffers. It all started a few years ago when I came back from college in Utah, and I dyed my hair dark. And then when H broke up with me for good, I went back blonde. Once we were married for a few months and we were finally getting into the swing of things, I chopped it off. Then the reverse ombre made an appearance. I don't really have a specific reason or significant event that is making me want to change my hair this time, but I reeeeeeally want to!

What do you think? Will you still read my blog if I go dark?? Or is this the worst mistake of my life? Haha

Anyway, today I'm sporting a new hair do. When my hair was longer, I could do so much with my hair, and I loved it! Doing hair is probably one of my favorite things! And while I love my hair short, I hate that I can't do anything with it! I feel like my hair is the same in every post, so I'm trying to get more creative with my hair do's. Let me know what you think! :]

  3. I love your hair like this! Very rocker-ish! Have you thought of doing mini braids and pulling them back with pins? Or maybe doing small french braids at the front and pinning it back? Your outfit is so pretty!

  4. Brunette, Blond - doesn't matter it's your thoughts and style that make me read. I recommend investing in bobbi-pins for your shorter hair, you can do more style options.

Love the outfit today as well! Cute, fun, and totally something I would wear!

  6. I like your hair both ways! And it looks so cute short :) I had short hair too for a long time and I know what you're talking about with the lack of styling options and it is quite annoying!

  7. Love your hair! I tend to get sick of my hair pretty quickly too - I always seem to be getting a different cut. My motto - it'll always grow back! Love your outfit too!

  8. I love your hair now, but I think it'd be fine dark. It's getting towards the end of summer when almost everyone goes dark anyway.

  17. I like it both ways...what matters is what you want to do with it. I know that itch...I change up my hair all the time...and once you get the itch it has to be scratched!

  19. I love your shorter hairstyle. It looks very chic and you seem to find ways to change it up. I think you can rock both the blonde and the brunette just fine. I tend to go darker in the winter and then lighten up come spring. Just seems right somehow. I really loved the ombre look and I love your blog!
